HANDLECHIEF PUMPKIN SPICE 5K RUN

8PM – 21+

$5

Yes we know you all love 5K Runs for absolutely any ridiculous reason – so why not have a Pumpkin Spice 5K.  Truth is we aren’t doing any running, but there will be some amazing music by:

SUPERCHIEF –

SUPERCHIEF is by and large about two things:

1) Rock and Roll

2) Emulating the Rock and Roll Lifestyle – as taught by Lemmy

If you’re looking for old skool rock (yes that was with a k), then give us an honest shot at winning your rock and roll hearts. SUPERCHIEF knows no “scenes” or “cliques.” Everyone will be welcomed into our rock family with open arms.

Moreover, there are few things that SUPERCHIEF dislikes as a whole. For instance, we dislike:

1) Playing our respective instruments without some type of liquor near by.

2) Playing an acoustic show- I mean seriously?

Each time we take the stage amongst our legions of fans, we play to kill. It’s a battle, it’s not easy, but the sweetest things always come with a price. We encourage you to come and get a taste.. When you wake up the next morning after a SUPERCHIEF show and your ears are ringing, that’s a good thing. It let’s you know you’re alive.

HANDLEBAR- Years ago multiple people had sex and 5 awesome people were created. Years went by and they did separate things. All of a sudden something in the universe brought those 5 awesome people together and they formed Handlebar.

NO GOOD DEED- No Good Deed is a rock band from Des Moines, Iowa, comprised of battle-scarred veterans of the Central Iowa music scene. Their debut disc, “Looking for a Mantra,” is a collection of guitar-driven songs with big hooks and rich vocal harmonies.

The band’s initial line-up – Rob Reeves, Doug Hansen, Jeff Morgan and Tim Schmitt – gelled in 2012 and early shows with groups such as The Melismatics, Broadway Calls and The Dead Girls showcased its knack for delivering tight, catchy, hook laden songs.

In 2013, No Good Deed supported Everclear, Live, Sponge and Filter during the Summerland Tour stop in Des Moines and shared stages with Gaelic Storm and The Young Dubliners.

Dennis Gunn joined the group on drums in early 2015 but tragically passed away of natural causes a short time later. The band regrouped in April 2015 with a renewed spirit and sense of purpose, recruiting Ray Ebert to fill the drummer position.

The band’s self-produced debut disc, “Looking for a Mantra,” was released in September 2014 and is available on CD Baby, iTunes and Amazon.
