FRO
Guitarist Harold “FRO” Davis plays eclectic instrumental music, which draws from jazz, rock, funk, latin, electronica and other idioms. FRO has played shows with diverse national acts including Tower Of Power, Screaming Headless Torsos, Toots and the Maytals, Deep Banana Blackout, the Alex Skolnick Trio and Garaj Mahal.
Davis started FRO in 1995 has played in trio, quartet and sextet settings over the years. He has released three self-produced albums: “On Your Mark, Get Set, FRO!” in 2001, “The Paisley Album” in 2002 and “Surprise Music” in 2009.
Since late April 2015, Davis moved from Brooklyn, NY to Norwalk, IA. He has since found a new rhythm section and has been playing in the Des Moines area.
