Chris Koza is a musician, composer and performer living and working in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Influences range from finger-picking folk guitar to fuse-busting prog rock, though generally settles tastefully somewhere in-between. Koza’s storytelling and observations are thoughtfully navigated by melodies that both migrate through the seasons and burrow through the earth.
The Bent and Ragged
We are a three piece string band from Ames, Iowa. Our sound is a combination of Americana, jamgrass, acoustic rock and folk. We initially came together because we had a mutual love for many styles of music. We wanted to create something authentic and unique for our listeners. As a three piece, we are able to create intricate sounds while utilizing space and improvisation. Watch out for shows in the Ames and Des Moines area!
