Rocky Raccoon – A Musical Tribute to the Beatles
Rocky Raccoon is a band from Central Iowa that celebrates the music of The Beatles and the band is all about the music of John, Paul, George and Ringo! Two of the band members met each another in the early 90’s. Alan Smith and Tom Murphy discussed the idea of a Beatles Musical Tribute band and the seed was sewn. Fast forward nearly 20 years and Alan worked with a country musician names Chris Muhlbauer who had become a prolific fan of The Beatles. The two also talked about doing a Beatles Tribute band and that’s when a phone call was made to Tom and the show was nearly on. Rich Richmond, an amazing drummer and vocalist was brought on board by Tom, who had worked in bands with Rich in the 80’s. Now the combo was complete. Rocky Raccoon brings it’s very passionate Celebration of The Beatles to Clubs, Parties, Weddings, Casino’s, Winery’s and other corporate events!
