THE FUSS (Des Moines, IA) – The Fuss is a 3-piece band from Des Moines, Iowa. The first live show was August 7th, 2015. All of the recorded songs are mixed and released independently by The Fuss. The drummer is Braden Rupp. The bass player is Matt Nelson. I’m Joey Lyons. I do the rest. The songs span a wide range of topics and emotions, and it’s not unlikely that you’ll reflexivly melt into a tear puddle upon your first listen. Not due to sadness, rather related to the realization that many of these songs are a mirror into your own struggles and successes. We believe that music is intended to give listeners a powerful feeling of catharsis, and we construct our music accordingly. If we’re in your town, come see us. IRA GRACE & THE BIBLE BELT PROPHETS (Des Moines, IA) – In October of 2011, a band sprung from the cornfields and back roads of a small Iowa town. Ira Grace and the Bible Belt Prophets (consisting of Marc Bailey and Sara Williams) were formed. An up and coming acoustic duo, Ira Grace & the BBP is a band born of friendship and a mutual love of creating music. Having known each other since their early teens, Marc and Sara had no idea that by their twenties, they would be booking over 60 gigs and cutting an album in less than a year. From bars, to the Iowa State Fair, and eventually to their CD release at the Gaslamp in June of 2012, Marc and Sara feverishly sought out to make new music and share it with whoever would listen. Their soul-filled harmonies, poignant lyrics, and exquisite yet powerful balance of guitar picking is the foundation on which Marc and Sara deliver their original music. The on-stage energy created between them while performing is comfortable and contagious.
SHAMELESS PURSUIT (Kansas City, MO) – From Kansas City, MO, the Shameless Pursuit is a mix of Alternative, Prog, and Indie Rock with a singer/songwriter undertone.
The Shameless Pursuit (TSP) began in January or 2015 as a project to bring the musical writings of Jeffrey Means to fruition. This quickly became a collaboration of all three members and began to perform their works in the Spring of 2015.
