The Sextet (Kansas City) is a contemporary groove jazz ensemble creating music to be moved to and moved by. Fusing jazz harmonies and song structure with dance grooves and rhythms, their music describes life events and situations, emotions and states of being. Their original compositions and arrangements are brought to life with a three saxophone horn section, accompanied with guitar, bass, and drums.
