THE FORD THEATRE REUNION (KY) – self proclamed Sludgefunkcircuspunk and i can’t think of a better way to describe the maniacal sounds of FTR. A fusion of Keys, Guitar, Bass, Accordian, Drums, and Clarinet, meld together to create a sound that is all thier own. Ford Theatre has a way of taking you through an emotional rollercoaster during their set. You will experience excitement, laughter, anger, and hardcore sexiness! A band that sounds like no other band out there – they are not to be missed.

THE MAW (DM) – Des Moines’ strangest band, still going strong after 6 years of doing it their own way. Led by the soaring melodies from Forrest Lonefight on Guitar. Forrest has a unique ability to create landscapes reminescent of early Jeff Beck and Frank Zappa. Complimented with Keyboard work from Erik Brown who draws heavy influence from King Crimson and Mr. Bungle. The ryhthm section comprised of two of the most talented and interesting players in the Midwest, Shane Mills (drums) and Jeff Stone (bass). A ryhthm section that never takes a traditional approach allows the band to form limitless soundscapes – you never are quite sure which instrument is making the sounds you are hearing. There are no boundries for this band – and if you want to hear something that sounds like nothing else you will find it within their set. From video game music to doom Jazz, The Maw is sure to challenge your brains.
