Iowa Junk was formed as a project after Tyler Johnson’s band Punched by Proxy broke up. Johnson, wanting to delve into more complex and meaningful styles finds new ways to invigorate his songs into something more than just a boring singer-songwriter project and to create something special that shows eclecticism, sentiment and the loose beauty of imperfection.
