HeavyWeight – Hailing from the small overlooked town of Muscatine, IA, HeavyWeight started out as just a means for 5 guys to play music while holding down the basic adult juggling act of family and work. From what started out as a simple Facebook post from vocalist Nathan Regennitter looking to play with some local musicians turned into something a bit more after guitarist Jason Wieskamp and drummer Sam Koester were the first to throw their names into the hat. After one practice and call was placed to Matt Parrott with the invitation to take up the position of 2nd guitar player. After a few bass players, Scott Moomey settled in around the spring of 2014 and rounded out the rhythm section nicely.
With musical backgrounds ranging from rock to metal to the fast paced hardcore style to even doom metal, HeavyWeight molds all these sounds into something they feel they can call their own.

Bighandful – BigHandful is a Des Moines, Iowa 3-piece rock band. Early 90’s heavy sound with a lot of Punk rock influence and attitude

Bhagwan – “some dudes making rock and roll.”  They may be modest about what they are, saying that they are just some dudes making rock.  But the Big Fuzz devouring sound that is Bhagwan should not be taken lightly.  Born out of several bands, of which many were staples in the Des Moines Lo Fi Stoner Rock scene, Bhagwan is the culmination of all that is good in Des Moines ROCK.  No gimmicks – just kick your teeth in riffs for days.  If you like banging your head till your asshole tears loose, you might want to catch this band live!  If twerking is your thing, they might say you’re welcome as well.
